We’re stepping into an exciting new chapter! Jean Spivey has joined TDHP as our new Executive Director, bringing an extensive background in nonprofit leadership and a passion for Texas music and culture.
We're also proud to introduce John Faulk as our new Board President! A longtime supporter and Lifetime Member, John brings a deep love of Texas heritage and strong community ties to his leadership role. With his thoughtful guidance and the support of new board members Sharon Fleming, Laura Pishion, and Valerie Welch, TDHP’s future is looking bright.

Anhalt Hall Turns 150!!!
Big cheers to Anhalt Hall, which marked its 150th anniversary this spring! TDHP supported the Mayfair celebration with a $1,500 President’s Grant—and the party continues this October with even more festivities. (Jon M. Developed with funding from the National Park Service, this guide includes:

Preservation Grant Applications Opening Soon
Get ready! Our Preservation Fund Grant applications will open soon—and this year, we expect to offer larger grants than ever before. These seed grants help nonprofit-owned halls with repairs and assessments that kick-start critical preservation work. Watch this space for more info.
Archival Grants Available
Want to digitize your hall’s history? The Portal to Texas History is now accepting applications for its 2025 Rescuing Texas History program. Selected participants will receive up to $1,000 in digitization services—a fantastic way to preserve programs, photos, posters, and more.
